When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.

Melbourne Based Doula and Birth Photographer
In love with birth.
In love with normalising birth.
In love with promoting birth rights.
In love with sharing extraordinary moments with families.
In love with ensuring that these precious once-in a-lifetime moments aren’t forgotten.
This is why I truly look forward to your 3am ‘I think I’m having a baby’ phone call…
Blending Science and Soul in the Birth Space
Based in Melbourne, I specialise in blending the science of birth with the soul of birthing to create a space of support, respect and love. And, my documentary photography style will capture moments that may otherwise be missed, lost forever. My documentary photography style can help fill in any gaps and heal trauma.
How do I know? Well, for me, it’s personal…
My post-natal depression convinced me I didn’t love or care for my baby, and that I too was unlovable. The photos taken of me at the time told me a different story and helped me towards recovery. I can see how hard I was finding life, but also how gently I touched my baby, the way I looked at my child’s face, and especially, the way my partner looked at me.
These images helped me see myself in a different light.
I love taking documentary and lifestyle family photos of exactly what is, so you can see for yourself, and so you can show
your children years later, ‘this is what life was like’.
I love that my work can help fill in any blank moments, any missed moments, any behind the scenes moments you may not have been privy to at the time. The touches, the looks, the unspoken…captured forever to be cherished and part of your family’s legacy.
It doesn’t need to be glamorous, but it’s almost always touching and beautiful.
Who do I work with?
Those wanting a love-filled birthing experience (and the memories to match). Those wanting full acceptance of their birth choices, their parenting, their relationships, their lifestyle.
Whether you’re queer, introverted, a survivor of past trauma (birthing or otherwise), in a non-traditional relationship or just feeling a little overwhelmed at the whole concept of becoming a parent you still deserve to be supported in a positive birth – and that’s where I come in.
I will accept you.
I will support you.
I will guide you.
I will answer your questions.
I will help you to create a happy, positive story for your family.
I believe each and every person giving birth deserves to feel beautiful, powerful and enough.
I believe I can help you to see yourself the way you deserve.
